Linus Eklöw aka Style Of Eye started out working in the studio in the late 90ies and began to develop his unique style of music with releases and remixes on such prolific labels as Classic Recordings, Tiny Sticks and Rabid Records - to name just a few - or most recently on Dirtybird and John Dahlbäck’s Pickadoll label. His understanding of electronic music goes far beyond stereotyped thinking as you can tell from going through the list of different labels he has released on. Linus melts down electrish bleeps, hysteric synthezisers, raw percussions, minimalism, big mouthed basses and soulful chords in order to create the club destroying monsters. After the success of “The Big Kazoo” E.P (Dirtybird), followed up by “The Prophet” (Pickadoll) Style Of Eye´s first artist-album will see its light in May 2008 on Pickadoll. Watch out for Style Of Eye, he is certain to become the “important star” that DJ Magazine predicted he would be.
